Egg transfer

I had a phone call on the nurses today who left a voicemail saying they could call me today, tomorrow or Saturday for the egg transfer and they’ll call on the day. I thought there was a few things you had to do before the ET like not eat for several hours etc so how would I plan for this if I’m being told on the day. Also can I use a gel for bacterial vaginisos ?? Will that affect anything?? Thank you

My clinic have always said I can eat and drink normally during the day but to go to the toilet and drink 300ml of water an hour before the appointment. They also say not to wear any perfume or deodorant. I wouldn’t use the gel personally but my clinic always say check with them/GP/pharmacist before taking any medication. I just spoke with her and she said it’s fine thank god. Sorry really personal but did you have any discharge after the EC. They said they’re going to give me a call tomorrow to see how the eggs are doing

Oh that’s good. I can’t remember tbh as it was over a year ago but I think it’s normal. Hope you get lots of positive news tomorrow x
