Egg transfer question

Evening girls,

So I’m waiting for the embryologist to call in the morning to say if I’ll have my egg transfer. They said they would only be prepared to transfer certain grade eggs, on Thursday day 3 they weren’t great. I’ve paid privately for this cycle. Does the embryologist have the final say on transfer?

Hope you're doing ok.

We've just had donor eggs.

9 to start with then that went down to 5 over night. Its v v common to loose 40% in the fertilisation period.

I would go 100% with what them embreologist says.

They know exactly what to look for in the cell development etc.

I know it may be disappointing but they absolutely know best.

Ah thanks for your reply. I didn’t realise it’s so common to lose nearly half of them overnight. TBH, she did say for 3 for fertilise was good.

So I managed to get one egg to transfer in the end. She rang yesterday morning, and I’ve had it transferred back. She said it was at a murola stage. So now currently on 2ww.

Do you mind me asking where you went for donor eggs? I wish you all the best, keep me updated x
