Hi all. We are about to start our next cycle and just waiting for our protocol. Last cycle I responded well to short protocol but my lining was thin at 6.5 at transfer and I started af in the 2ww day 9. I think there may be an issue with extrogen and progesterone and I just wondered if anyone could advice as to if I should be asking for more support with these? Any additional meds I should enquire about so that I don’t have the same issues in cycle 2? TIA

Hello dear! I'm sorry for your previous experience((. I went through a lot as well, but didn't lose my hope! I had a miscarriage after the 3rd IVF attempt at 9th week of pregnancy so I know how hard it is. I went to Europe for change and got bfp after the 2nd ICSI+OE+Mitochondrial replacement. Now I am on the 17th week so I wish you the best of luck and don't lose your hope. Everything will be alright as miracles happen!

Some of us really struggle with our linings including myself! Are you having the same protocol as last time? Its perhaps a little late in the game but have you tried DHEA to help with egg quality? I felt this helped my lining too. As for bleeding in the 2ww I has this on 2 of my fresh cycles. I questioned my progesterone being too low and the consultant just said that wasnt possible, I was on crinone gel. My new clinic have me use 2x400mg of cyclogest and Ive not had any bleeding before test day so I definitely think its worth asking about, Im sure my NHS clinic just had one size fits all approach! Good luck.xx
Thanks for your reply. I have been taking dhea for 5 months, I think it really helped as I got 10 mature eggs collected despite having low ovarian reserve so I have continued with this for this cycle, did help my lining though ☹️. I will ask about cyclogest x
You could try vit E to helpp with your lining and L'arginine. Also ask the consultant if you can take baby aspirin (75mg) to help with blood bood flow to your uterus, you can buy all the above over the counter. Along with warm baths and hot water bottles, also keep your feet warm. Good luck.xx
