free IVF

Hi I am new to this forum. We are trying to have a baby for more than 8 years. I am new to this country. Is there any free IVF (government funded) available in U.K and am I eligible to apply for that.

Any suggestion would be helpful. thanks

Hi. No expert on this topic but my personal experience is that I (foreigner) married to a Brit ) didn’t qualify. But I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that we are in south London. (Clapham) Our neighbours - new they Moved here about 7 months ago - were in Hammersmith (west London) both brits and they had 2 rounds of IVF on the NHS. Sorry it was very helpful

I don’t know. Are you on a visa? Did you pay into the NHS? The ladies on here will know. I saw a post on this about 6 months go.

Hi Frussy, I am also on spousal visa. but the specialist in uk said I am not eligible for NHS - IVF treatment as I am turning 43 now.

I don't know exactly what age it is in Wales, I am 36 and my husband 40
