Egg Transferred

We had our transfer today. I was so nervous. Not about the procedure but the outcome of the eggs. Unlike for what I gather many clinics do, the clinic we are using doesn’t give you a daily progress update so the last we heard was last Thursday (4 out of 5 eggs fertilised). At that time they put us straight forward for blastocyst transfer and booked us in for today. I’m not sure why and how they were so confident.

Anyway, from the 4 fertilised we have ended with 3 good quality blastocysts. One is now inside me and two are being frozen. I’m so relieved.

So if anyone out there is concerned about low number of eggs you just never know. X

I'm ok thanks. Was a nervous wreck this morning waiting for the call to find out whether we were doing 3 day transfer or going for 5 day transfer. But the call said they're going for 5 day transfer on Wednesday. Looks like we have 2 good quality embryos and another that they are watching who could catch up. Continuing to keep everything crossed! Xx
