I just wanted to see if anyone had tried Inofolic? I have PCOS, we conceived a little girl through IVF last August after ttc for 3 1/2 years but now I am feeling the strain for a second child. We would both love this but will have to pay for the next round of IVf should we choose that road. I just wanted to see if anyone had used this before and what effects it had on them?
Thank you x

I have pco and used it for months and months on the recommendation of my clinic. I’m not sure what difference it was supposed to make to me as I have a regular period and ovulation. I’d hoped it would improve my skin but all in all I noticed no difference to anything whatsoever. I ended up taking folic acid and myo inositol from amazon instead, so much cheaper xx
Thanks for the response! Do you mind me asking did it help you to conceive? I’d like to try as much as possible before we go down the road of IVF again. Thank you x
It didn’t. We have male factor infertility you see. I think it’s supposed to balance hormones which is why I thought I’d see an improvement in my skin but it didn’t make any difference. If you look at the ingredients that’s all it is - folic acid and myo inositol xx
I’m using that and metformin for PCOS. Inofolic gave me no body issues - metformin disrupted my taste buds a lot & affected my digestion (diarrhoea). I had to build up the Metformin slowly over a number of weeks.
I got a free sample of inofolic at a fertility show, I only used it for the month supply I was given but it made a difference, i ovulated earlier in my cycle and lengthened my luteal phase. It contains myonisotol which can help improve egg quality, can also help with insulin sensitivity which is why it’s recommended for PCOS. I switched to the Zita West Verizon because it has folate rather than folic acid but I don’t have MHTFR mutation so I can take folic acid or folate, and it’s cheaper than inofolic but then the inofolic was good in that it came in individual sachets
Any supplements you take for fertility/conception need at least 3 months because the egg and sperm cycle take 90 days for any dietary/supplement changes to have an effect on egg and sperm quality, we didn’t conceive naturally but started supplements in time for IvF round 2 and we had a grade A embryo transferred and another to freeze so we don’t know whether this embryo will give us a BFP yet but they were better quality
