vaginal birth after ivf over 35

Hi

Is there anybody here who had vaginal birth after ivf over 35?

I had my son at 39 after IVF, was induced 2 weeks early and had him vaginally although needed forceps as he was back to back (they realised this after 10 hours of pushing!)

Thanks for your answer. Was he your first child? Why were you induced early? Because he is an ivf baby?

I was induced due to protein in my urine and my age, not IVF, although they did tell me they would not let me go over my due date due to IVF

Yes I did aged 37, I also had forceps in the end but ivf and age wasn’t the issue xx

I had both mine vaginally after IVF. I was 36 for my first and 38 for my second. There’s no reason not to have a vaginal birth after IVF if that’s the thinking behind your question. Some hospitals will want to induce you on your due date though so something to be aware of.

Ivf is not a reasonfor c section. I just wanted to check what happens after 35 with first ivf baby

Why did everybody have forcep? Nothing to do with ivf???
