The should do’s and should not do’s?

Hi all,

I’m booked info my first FET on Wednesday after two failed fresh cycles.

I’ve seen lots on here about pineapple and was wondering what the should do, could do, shouldn’t do etc are.

I’ve got a few days off work immediately after transfer to chill out and not get back into work stress. I also exercise a bit and wondered what people thought of that, before and after transfer!

Interested to hear all your thoughts and stories x

I hope things go well for you. I believe light exercise is always good for one. Therefore, continue with that! It will give you the energy that is needed. Other than that make sure to take extra care of your diet. Currently, I am in my 2ww and I am avoiding all sort of junk food. Only eating food that is high in nutrients. Really hoping for the best now.

It looks like my FET will be on Wednesday too! I will get a confirmation tomorrow. I have also failed 2 fresh cycles. I have booked 6-8 Mar off work.

In terms of pineapple, there is a lot of mixed information out there so I won’t be eating it this time. At my clinic they told me to walk and stop all other exercise. I wish you all the best 🍀🤞🏻xx

I had my frozen embryo transfer yesterday late morning. I take high strength of vitamin D, vitamin E close to 600mgs to help with thicken the womb, vitamin B12 and evening primrose oil. I also drink pomegranate juice as well. 😊

Meant to be something about pineapple core having an enzyme to help implantation. I love pineapple so will probably go with that one again.

My clinic says “no strenuous exercise” during 2ww. I stopped going to the gym for that period. I got a BFN but at least I know it wasn’t because of overdoing it.

I saw a nutritionist and asked about pineapple core, Brazil nuts and pomegranate juice (all things I've seen people recommend for implantation). She told me the main thing is to have a balanced diet with nothing in excess - just all the usual things that help your body to work well like fresh veg and filtered water... In terms of exercise, I remember a fertility nurse saying to listen to my body and do what feels good. For my embryo transfers I remember feeling quite tired so I just went on walks. Good luck!
