We are about to fly to Greece on Sunday for our first IVF, feeling really anxious (trying not too be), it is really comforting to hear all your updates, and nice to have a community to reach out to. We have a transfer on Monday and fly home on Tuesday then the wait begins. xx

Thank you Diane, I am taking the Wednesday off work and am putting on hold my "spinning classes" until we get the results, have booked some nice things in to do whilst we wait. x
Hi Diane. Someone has asked about what clinic we are using. Am I able to tell them on here as do not want to do anything am not supposed to? Please let me know ❤️
Hi Debrakay1704 - my husband and I have decided to go to Greece too (Athens) for our (donor egg) IVF treatment, hoping to go in May. It’ll be our first time going abroad so we’re also keeping everything crossed it goes ok. Sending you loads of luck for your transfer 🤞🤞🤞 Hope it goes really well! X
Thank you Claire, have you been out to see them yet? I really found it a pleasant process, we first met with them at the fertility show and when we went in November for all our testing, and thank you. keep me posted, if I can help at all. x
We haven’t been out yet - we’re going to have our tests in the UK I think and go out to do it all in one go in May, try to make a little holiday out of our first attempt! I know there are a few clinics so I wonder if we’re at a different one to you, but it’s still so nice to share journeys with others on here X
Our one is not in Athens so definitely a different one, that is a nice way of doing it, make it a little holiday as well :-). I was really calm but now just been worrying about how we will react if it does not work (same as everyone), especially as everyone around me seems to be announcing pregnancy news! Keep me updated. We will find out a week on Wednesday if it has been a success. xx
I’ll keep you posted and I really hope you get your miracle! Pregnancy announcements are awful, I absolutely dread them, so I really sympathise with you there. Sending so much luck your way! xx
You're absolutely right. I can relate so much to this post. Anxiety is almost killing during TTC. I hope you have a better experience. I trust you to make it through. Sending you lots of love and prayers. You can do this! I hope you get great news.
