Egg Retrieval .. which days?

This might be a stupid question but I’m just about to book our flights to go over for our treatment and we had planned to fly over on cd 11 as we were told ER would be any day from cd12.. is it ever possible they do this any earlier?? I don’t want to pay for flights and find they could ask me to go in cd 11 when we’re not there yet.. is this a possibility??

Hi! On my last round I had egg collection 2 days earlier than planned (I was on short protocol), I only stimmed for 12 days and at my final scan was showing 4 follicles and I had a dominant follicle which they didn't want to lose. Unfortunately I only had 1 egg retrieved as the other 3 follicles were empty. I already have 2 dates for potential egg collection if my 3rd cycle starts at the end of this month. So it can happen. I’ve had egg collection on day 10,11 and 12 on different cycles so not sure what to advise! Can you pay a bit extra for a flexi rate?x

We’ve managed to sort work and have decided to go cd 9 to be safe! Hopefully this will be plenty of time now x

Mine was 2 days after original scheduled date. It all depends on how your scans look and the development of your follicles. They should be able to tell you if it’s likely to be earlier going by what the measurements are x

We’ve decided to go out on cd9 to be on the safe side after hearing it can happen earlier.. thanks for all your comments it helped me decide! X
