Down regulation failed?

I’ve been on Buserelin injections for 14 days, started day 19 of a short cycle. Been for my down reg scan this morning and my lining is still thick and triple layered despite having had a heavy period. I have a large ?follicle ?cyst for which I have had bloods taken to check and I’m waiting on an outcome but I’m preparing myself for my cycle to be cancelled. Anyone had any similar stories and successes?

Hi Aprilmama. Oh dear, I'm sure you are disappointed. Just going to have see what the blood test reveals, as to whether to abandon the cycle, carry on or have something like a Prostap injection to down regulate you. Fingers crossed it is soon solved. Diane

Thank you, I’ve just had the update to continue buserelin for another week and rescan so I can only hope it works. No idea on the bloods I didn’t ask I was just surprised to be carrying on x
