Cramps 5 days post IUI

So I had my IUI 5 days ago now and today I’m super crampy. I had cramps the day of the insemination but then it seemed to ease. Today they’re back though :(. Don’t know if this is normal. Had any one experienced anything similar?

Yeah I have! I had light cramps 5 days after ovulation & stronger cramps 3 days before my period was & it was implantation cramps ! Currently 21 weeks pregnant. I thought it was too soon at 5 days to do that! Really hope it’s the same for you, I’ve got everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻✨✨✨❤️❤️ it is safe to take paracetamol for cramps are bad, it’s safe for pregnant women . Good luck xoxo

Yeah that’s what I thought, that it was too early for implantation cramps. I hope it’s the same for me too #wishfulthinking lol. Have taken some paracetamol. Hopefully it helps. Xx

Hi Ajplus. Could it even be down to using pessaries? They are notorious for cramping. Might even be down to your womb settling after being "messed" with. Safe to take some paracetamol if needed. Hope all soon feels better. Diane

I did not know that, it quite possibly could be I am using them twice a day. Thank you 😊
