Is it safe to have a mammography before ivf?!

Hello and happy new year to everybody

As the title says, I got a letter to have mamography on11th of January and it is just a normal public service! I’ve never done it before but as I’m closing to turn 40 in a few months they gonna start checking me!

Just wanted to make sure if it is safe before having my ivf which is on February ?!

Yes I had two just before starting my last cycle as the doctor told me it was fine to do them!

Its no problem. The only issue is when you might be pregnant as the radiation could harm the baby.

I've had several during my years of IVF.
