NK cell testing

Hi, just looking for some advice. I’m booked to have NK cell biopsy this month. I have booked the date 10 days after ovulation as they requested. I find the ovulation tests unreliable. So I use a calendar based on my cycle. The issue is I’ve had one normal cycle since my BFN and now have started another light period when my period isn’t due for another 2 weeks. Does anyone know if I can still go for the biopsy or would it not be able to be done? I struggle to arrange time off work and don’t want to delay my next IVF cycle to long. Hope this makes sense. Hi gemmy. I think this could be a slight withdrawal bleed, which shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps you would be better to try the ovulation detection kits for certainty. Good luck! Diane

Thank you for your reply. I’ve been really concerned about it. It started when ovulation was due. I’ve read you can get ovulation bleeds? What’s a withdrawal bleed? I have ordered the sticks so I will see what they show. I’ve never had much luck with them in the past so the clinic were happy for me to go by the ovulation calendar. Just be a shame to go and then not be able to have it done. Thanks again. X

Hi. It's a fake bleed, sometimes caused through ovulation. Could be a slight hormonal imbalance, so try not to worry abut it. Good luck with the strips. Diane
