Day 3 of suprecur and can barely keep my eyes open

Hi, We've just started our first round of IVF and on day 3 of suprecur injections. I'm finding the injections much easier than I expected - very helpful hubby to thank for that who did the first two days and I did today's. I have felt like napping really since about 3 hours after my first injection. Feel really sleepy and drowsy which is making things at work difficult when I really need to concentrate and get stuff done! Also my boobs have got massive - is this normal?! Also feeling nauseous a lot. Only time it stops is if I eat something, so I'm worried I'm going to be the size of a house by the time this has finished. Feeling like this is going to be a pretty long month of injections ahead if this is only day 3....

Tiredness is definitely a side effect, and being tired is possibly what’s making you hungry. My clinic recommends injections in the evening, are you able to do this?

Oh that’s interesting. I was told to do it in the morning within the same 2 hour window every day.

If your clinic prefer morning then you should really go with that but I would be tempted to ring the nurses and ask if it would be ok to switch to evening.

I also have to do it in the morning but it has to be at the same time everyday. X

Hello, I am currently on suprecur for the second time. First time I didn’t feel many side affects but mainly thirst and hunger, constantly hungry. But this time I feel tired but can’t sleep at night, I feel quite low and just want to sit quietly all of the time and I have head aches.

I went in for a scan yesterday and my lovely nurse told me it was all normal. I just want to stay in bed.

Just think of the positive outcome and stay strong through it. If you put on a little extra weight it’s not the end of the world, your body obviously needs it.

Oh sorry you’re finding it so tough. I’m also getting headaches but that’s sadly normal for me so not sure if it’s the drugs. Glad things look ok so far x
