Hey ladies. So I’m 9 weeks today and for the first time woke up feeling slightly normal. However, I now have a slight bellyache and a tiny amount of blood on tissue when I wipe (sorry for TMI)
Should I be worried or wait and see how it goes throughout the day?
Thanks ladies for being there for support xx

I had spotting ( which is what this sounds like to me very common) between on off 6-14 weeks. My baby is fine. The midwife told me the only concern is severe abdominal pain with heavy bleeding like gushing. I did get my GP to refer me for a scan at 10 weeks & it did our ny mind at ease. If you are worried & who wouldn’t be phone the GP to refer you to early pregnancy unit for a scan- I got a scan the next day. The go told me to bed rest & was happy to sign me off work for as long as I wanted. Hope it passes soon xoxo
My midwife said that I could contact the early pregnancy unit at the hospital if I was worried about any symptoms. She did say that I should only worry if I got heavy bleeding but I would ring if you need reassurance xx
Hi CLN1986. I would ring the EPU for reinsurance, but usually no cause for concern unless a pad full of bright red blood accompanied by pain. Should it become "smelly" you may have a bit of infection, have a rest when you can, but remember when you get up there may be a small ooze again. Hope it soon settles down. Diane
