Clinics abroad: Hello we are looking at... - Fertility Network UK
Clinics abroad
I heard Teknon in Spain and North Cyprus IVF Centre are very good
Im having treatment in Greece with DE and my hubby has very low sperm count. I guess it depends where you want to travel to so transport links have a lot to do with it. There are many countries that people travel abroad to for treatment. Have you checked out the forum fertility friends, there is a while section of clinics abroad. Also make sure if you are comparing clinics that you are comparing like for like:- donor drug costs, embryo freezing costs, frozen transfers.......etc. Good luck.xx
I’ve been looking on website egg donation friends, it’s very helpful 👍 Xx
Well, Refocus you might get connected to some of these ladies and see if their clinic sounds good enough to suit your requirements. I understand the problem of funding very well... we were supposed to have our IVF this summer but has to postpone for some sudden financial troubles. Well, I'm covered for the IVF for now but then the process will still have some expenditures and having a baby too (we're hopeful the IVF will work) needs some money saved and tucked away.
To both Refocus and Hidden there's a couple of more thing you need to consider when going for the fertility process abroad... the contract and your benefits in terms of repeated attempts before selecting a package. Also, watch out for hidden costs and if you need DE+IVF the statement about donor enganement the clinic's liability if anything amiss on their or donor's part.
