First time posting so please bear with me....We are looking at IVF and don't qualify for NHS funding. Our private consultant has recommended a clinic in Spain but I wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere through personal experience?
Many Thanks.

I can suggest a private clinic I used hun. Don't think I can give the name on here though.
They were fab and professional and as a result I have 9 week old twins! It's based in London though? Don't know if this would be good for you etc. Let me know and I'll PM you. X
We are looking mainly at clinics abroad as they appear to be much cheaper. I'd be interested to know if the London one you used was the one my consultant recommended if we were to go with a UK option though ☺️ Please do pm me the name. X
Yes I can recommend a clinic in cyprus. That where I did mines and I am 8 weeks pregnant today. They are very good and they culture ur embyro to 5 day blyclast which is the best they also give u a chance of putting back 4 embyro if u want for best results.
I went to a clinic in the Czech Republic. They were fantastic, spoke English well and replied to emails promptly. I also choose the clinic on how easy it was to get there; flights were cheap and frequent from London airports.
There is a great forum called " fertility Friends" which has forums for many clinics in many countries. Its a great way to find out other peoples experience of a clinic.
Hello! This is high time for us to look for the right clinic as well. Briefly our story goes in like this. I'm 40 yo and my husband is 46. recently I have been diagnosed on luteal phase defect. It happens when the ovary doesn't produce enough of the hormone progesterone after ovulation. this hormone is vital for preparing the uterine lining for a fertilized egg. Due to this problem we cannot get pregnant naturally. being at a loss we started considering all the possible ways out. we're looking for the same kind of information where it is better to apply for the treatment. Today i was told about Ukrainian clinic as a highly qualified one offering a special guarantee. as far as i've read it's really attractive. i suppose we're in IVF need. they are ready to offer the package with an unlimited number of attempts. and it doesn't seem we have money to burn, but the hope to achieve success after 5 attempts. if no, they are ready to give us refund. probably will have more info by the end of the week)
from my friends experiences ( i am considering it now)- fertility clinic in Poland (based in Gdansk and Warsaw). Pm if want their name. Ladies were happy with affordable prices, english speaking and professional docs, and great outcome-pregnancies. One friend has decided to travel again for a second cycle. jhza700 has great idea- fertilityfriends co uk have international boards with tons of reviews and comments on ivf abroad xx
You know, all those obstacles starting from the age even (I'm 43 yo). We were in case of unexplained infertility. To boost our chances we did everything possible starting from a special diet to fertility drugs. But then we simply realized we were wasting our time.
After all we experienced applying for IVF treatment in Ukraine. It was a contradicting period for all the family. Our relatives insisted on our staying in England, and the friends were all for treatment abroad as it was more affordable. For you to know, is possible to take 2 IVF cycles there instead of 1 for the same sum of money.
Our first appointment was conducted by phone and was really attractive. We also found out they offered the guarantee to their clients. It made us even more confident. After considering all pros and cons we just went there full of hope. And were not mistaken.
Thanks to this institution our adorable Pam came to this world!
We are afraid that we have had to edit posts from this thread as they comment on individual clinics. Whilst a request for feedback via the private messaging system is acceptable, we ask that comments are not posted on the community.
choose countries which are not popular but in such medicine. you will have no such big expenses and you ll get acquinted with their culture. i had experience in Ukraine and maybe I'll continue my treatment there.
I hope you got assisted. But for the benefit of other users who may come across this thread, I want to mention that IVF has been made expensive and so it does not benefit people it was designed for. For instance, having the procedure in countries such as the United States and Canada will cost you not less than $150k. This is a colossal amount of money that can only be raised by the super-rich or middle-class families. Unfortunately, infertility is a problem that affects both the rich and the poor. So when it is priced as high as that, it becomes difficult for the poor to access and benefit from the service. However, there is good news for ladies looking for the service. There are a few countries in Europe whose objective is to help families facing the problem. The amount of money they charge is modest and within both the poor the middle class and the super-rich. For instance clinics in Russia and Ukraine charge a paltry $30K for IVF on your own egg. They also provide food and accommodation for their patients. So if you are a foreigner, you will not worry how you will get to the facility where you will sleep and what you will eat. For couples looking for surrogate mothers, they will be charged between 45 and 50k which includes the fee to be paid to the surrogate mother. This is cheaper than in the US where the fee to be paid to the surrogate mother is about 100-120k
Hey there looking for help. IVF is a costly treatment indeed and with a risk of getting unsuccessful as well. I would recommend you to look into Europe for clinics that offer these treatments with a very reasonable range. I have family that consulted clinics in Europe. They are comparatively easy on the pocket and economical. A clinic in Ukraine provides residence there during the proceedings. There is an option to do the treatment again if it was unsuccessful for the first time. I am recommending this because all my cousin could say after getting back from there was, how great the service was and how happy she is. On the other hand, there are clinics that are very costly and do not provide accommodation and other facilities too. My friend is also going there for her procedure next month. I cannot wait to see her with her complete family. I hope this helped. Feel free to ask for any queries. Best of luck.
I am using donor eggs with a clinic in Brno, Czech Republic. They have been amazing so far. I think it's around €2500 for own egg cycle (plus meds) and €4800 for donor eggs.
My partner was very apprehensive about going overseas but we went to the clinic at the end of last year and we're very impressed. Transfer is tomorrow so hopefully it all pays off.
Hi hun. I'm.using DE with a clinic in Greece. I'm 6 weeks (waiting for my 7 week scan 🤞🙏). I had 4 transfers in total to get this far, 2 using my own eggs and 3 with DE. All of their staff speak perfect English and they respond to emails quickly. They are all very nice. Had to slightly argue my case about progestrone levels but otherwise they are lovely and always felt like they had our best interest at heart. DM if you want their name.
