Day 3 tests

Hi all,

40 and been ttc for a year. Just got my day 3 bloods back. Apparently all in the ‘normal range’ but wanted to see if people had any insights whilst I await my first fertility clinic appointment.

TSH: 2.0

Free 4: 13

LH: 2.4

FSH: 6.1

Prolactin: 157

Oestrogen: 123

Testosterone: 0.5

The fact that your fsh is low is a good thing - means you’re not likely low on eggs. They will probably do an AMH test, I’m surprised they didn’t run that with these? I don’t know a lot but the results all do look fine to me as nothing is crazy low or high. Good luck!xx

Thanks so much Orla, yeah my gp surgery is a bit crap/clueless. The fact that I’m 40 and this 3 day test has just been done a year into trying is crazy. Hopefully I’ll get an appointment at the FC soon.

Oh yes the GPs can’t order AMH tests I think, didn’t realise it was your GP sorry. Xx
