Bit nervous about posting, first time I’ve written anything on here but since joining and just reading everything people have put - it’s been so helpful and in some ways has put me at ease / made me feel better about some of the things I’m feeling.

We’re at nearly two and a half years trying to conceive and waiting for our IVF referral at the moment. Currently feeling awful that I’m not getting excited for those around me who are getting pregnant, some really close friends / family but really am struggling.

Hoping things are going on the right direction though 🤞🏼

👋 welcome! Everyone here is so friendly and an excellent source of support. I know the waiting is the hardest part but once you get your first appointment everything will speed up. Or at least that’s how it felt to me anyway. I hope your referral is quick and hassle free x

Definitely sense the support straight away! Hopefully it does happen without too much of a wait but can’t complain, just so lucky it’s an option and there’s support there

I felt the same, fairly quick process, loads of amazing NHS support and 2 funded cycles on offer... very lucky!!

I think it’s just not knowing what to expect, I’ve read on the internet but reading on here has been much more useful and real

Oh hon we've all been there - a little cry in the toilet at work when yet another colleague announces a pregnancy...

Welcome!! Waiting is a huge pain but you will have lots of support here! Just take every step as a step closer to hopefully a little baby! Good luck xxx
