Another step done

I am so very relieved!

I am on Metformin just two weeks and it is nothing exciting but I had my period starting today and that is actually a huge relief. My last period I had in October last year, and before I have to admit I was not very bothered that I didn't have my period. It was in a way nice not having it. But things changed the moment I decided I want to get pregnant, I want a child. After speaking to my GP there was talk of early onset of menopause. I know I have a long road ahead of me but the best news are that I dodged the bullet of early menopause.

But for now I am just relieved I can still have my periods. I think this is the first time I am very excited about it, I totally deserved the treat today.
