One Week Down - One To Go!

Ergh this is the longest 2WW ever!

Its my third from an assisted conception point of view that is, so you'd think I would be a pro but no this one is making me so crazy!

I am feeling less crazy paranoid than I did but i do keep panicking that my AF is coming - just that, TMI, wet feeling down there.

Its not as bad today (7DP5DT) than yesterday but every now and then I think OMG, AF is here and nothing (good!!)

Also, has anyone ever got increased bowel movements on the 2WW and it been a positive sign?

I know everyone is different but just wondered as its usually constipation I've read?

Also, mine cannot be down to the pessaries as I am not on any meds, this is completely natural cycle. Well as natural as it will be for us anyway! haha!

Any thoughts on these crazy symptoms?

The 2ww is so hard it feels like months not just two weeks. I obsessed over every little symptom and it drive me crazy. I didn’t really suffer with any bowel problem during treatment so I can’t comment on that. The only thing I can say is everyone has a different 2ww. For me personally my first cycle (stimulated IUI) I had no period pains, no cramping, sore boobs so I was super confident that it had worked. So I was dumbfounded and devastated when it was negative on OTD. During my second cycle (ICSI IVF conversion from IUI due to too many follicles). I had red blood bleeding and terrible period like cramping painful enough to take paracetamol. I thought oh no another failure but to my amazement I had my BFP and I now have my miracle 4 month old son. So try not to get too hung up on symptoms cause they differ so ugh for everyone. I will have my fingers and toes crossed that you have your BFP. Take care xx

Thanks hun

I know you are right and this 3rd one is slightly different from my others too but then I was on pessaries for those so who knows what was a true symptom.

I am trying to just get on but we all know how hard this can be huh?! xx

Yeah hun, I totally understand it’s so exhausting just trying not to think about every minute of them two long weeks. I used the pessaries vaginally at first but they they made me feel very wet and caused irritation so I started using them rectally. After that things improved in that aspect. I hope the reason this cycle feels different for you is because you have your BFP 🤞🏻Xx

I really hope so. We had a BFP last cycle but unfortunately it was a chemical :( hoping this one goes the distance xx

thank you hun, much appreciated xx

I did not get constipation, more that my body went into more regular routine - let's call it that.

Also, the increased progesterone can cause release of extra fluid. It's horrible as it so feels like a gush of af.

Sounds like your body is doing all it should. Hang on in there, trust in your body and keep up the positive visualiatons xxx

Haha - I like your wording, its been a bit like that or at least even more regular or more occurances. I do remember this from last cycle, which was obviously a BFP but chemical - so cant be sure its a sign or just one of those things!

Ahh ok so that could account for my feelings, lets hope its that! FC this is my sticky bean!

I hope you are doing ok xx

I keep saying to everyone that I really don't want the same feelings at the same time as last time as they didn't work out. So try not to compare and just settle in. Whatever happens is going to happen. And we hopefully ha be many decades of worry ahead of us. Good luck. Xx

P.s. doing fine thanks and not listening to any of my own advice he he xx
