Dear All, I have started looking for an know egg donor ( that we don't know yet but that we could meet, learn to know and appreciate). Would you have any recommendation for specific networks, apps. I have been looking at coparent, pride angel, pollentree and "just a baby". After several weeks on them looking all over the world, I still haven't been able to liaise with anyone. I don't sense that these platforms are very good interfaces, or is it me missing something, or it is just so difficult to find a donor... my husband is still very upset about the situation so for the moment I alone on the battleground. Such a very very difficult time, I am lost and cannot see perspective for the future.

When I found out at age 22 I had POF they said I would need egg donation so they put me on the waiting list I was on it for 3 years but also same time I found out all my lovely sisters offered me their eggs but as only one had kids at the time only she could donate so we are starting treatment end of January, are you on a egg donor waiting list x

We would like to meet and appreciate the donor. I don't think there is a waiting list for that option? Is there? Best,

I am not aware of anywhere that offers this at all. I hope you find what you are looking for. Xx

Was this NHS? Is that how long it normally takes? Is that maybe because you were young? I’m 37 and they’re talking about possibly using donor eggs but I didn’t ask how long I’d wait given my age. We have another consultation tomorrow to discuss my updated amh

Yeah on NHS I was put on the egg donor list from age 22 I was on it for 3 years and didn’t renew my wait after that time because I split with my husband and I’m now 32 with my new partner of 3 years and wanting a family my sisters offered to help me when found out I couldn’t have children but only my older sister can donate to me as other don’t have children yet x

I’ve found a Facebook group with lots of known donors. Mainly ladies who have donated before and would like to feel a bit more involved eg see the couple they have helped etc. It’s called egg donation giving/receiving support group xxx

Thank you 😊 I think I over research! But I like to have my next plan always. I’m the same as you, if I have a donor I want to know who they are and maybe to meet/speak xxx
