Few years ago I went through ivf and end up with BFN so year after we change the clinic..different doctor different meds all felt right and more “real” that time...and from that we have Beautiful baby girl 18 Months old ❤️ I’m 38 in few days time so last week we make a appointment to the clinic which we have one frozen embryo there. We spoke with doctor what to do next ...to use the frozen one or to go through fresh cycle. So they took my blood for AMH test . 30 min ago doctor call me back with results saying that my AMH level is 5.7 so time is not on my side ....meaning probably the best option is a fresh cycle... Is any of u ladies had similar situation with 5.7 AMH level being my age or close to that and have success story how many eggs had collected and if they change your meds on higher dose? Xx

Hello ladies I’m back again ☺️
Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl and good luck for your next round; whether that’s fresh or fet xx
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. I hope you are soon able to conceive again. Just don't worry I am sure things will get better. I have also taken this step of changing the clinic. Everyone I talked to asked me to do so. They told me that it is very important to change the clinic and visit that one which has a higher success rate. I never really bothered about this point until now. I hope this step prooves to be beneficial. I think you should do a fresh cycle. It will increase the chances of success. However, make sure your doctor agrees to this because proffessional help is always better. Good luck to you. Don't get dishearted. Things worked the first time they will work this time as well. Sending baby dust your way.
Thank u girls I spoke with my hubby before we make visit with doctor that my feeling is to do fresh cycle considering my age ...so when we went to clinic doctor told us that first that he willingly go through frozen and after fresh ...but seeing us undecided and confused what is best to do he done the AMH test saying we gonna see first results of that and then take from there. So in my feelings about fresh I was right. We r private patients now so is not just about the cost ...we want make sure that everything is done right from them side and from my. I ask him what about meds because first time I was on injection ..they collected I think 11 eggs transfer morula and blastocyst but nothing to freeze, and from last cycle I was in pen gonal 300 but I felt like I responded better even though that they collected only 5 eggs but we being left with good frozen one . He said that this time they will probably increase the dose. Xx
For me, if you have a frozen embryo it makes much more sense to use that first as it would only be a couple of months wait for a fresh cycle if the transfer doesn’t work... you got your miracle from your embryos so there is every chance the frostie could also be a miracle 💕
Thank u orla . First he said the same thing and if will work we will be over the moon 😍 but then knowing that my AMH level is only 5.7 which he said is low ...making me think again what the best option for us 😔xx
I agree with Orla. To me it would make sense to risk a couple months delay to try a frozen cycle first. A frozen cycle would be a lot less invasive and expensive. Plus the embryo is from an egg that is a few years younger, which could end up being a positive. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. Xx
My amh was only 2.7, 2 years ago, but it’s still 2.7 2 years on and one round gave me 6 eggs and 5 frozen embryos. Amh isn’t everything and 5.7 isn’t terrible! 💕🍀
Normal AMH levels (1.5 to 4.0 ng/ml) are associated with increased fertility and better response rates to fertility treatments. Low–Normal AMH levels (1.0 to 1.5 ng/ml) are associated with decreased ovarian reserve but chances can still be good for pregnancy outcomes.10 Sep 2018 . That what I find out....☺️
I think those levels you have found are based on different units xx
I’m 32 and my AMH is 6.1 (maybe slightly lower now been about a year and a bit since I had the blood test) I had a fresh cycle I started on the standard meds which I had to have a higher dose some way into my treatment, and I got pregnant on first attempt of IVF and I’ve now got a beautiful baby boy who is now 14 weeks old. I had 7 eggs collected in which 4 were fertilised and 1 made it to day 5 xxx
Hi! I'm 39 and my AMH is 3, I was on a high dose of med and we had 5 eggs, 4 fertilised, they all made it to 5 days and I'm very lucky to be 6 weeks pregnant with 3 in the freezer. Early days but keeping everything crossed! Good luck with your decision xx
Congratulations rr11 I wish u healthy pregnancy 🤰🏻👶 I was speaking with my hubby last night and he is more undecided then before...😔like he said is accept to me what I want to do xx I need to call the doctor again 2day and ask few questions xx
Ahh thank you so much! I know there's so much to consider. My AMH was tested in January and we didn't start treatment until October because I needed an op and we went on holiday ect... before starting.
I think if it was me, I would be tempted to use the frozen bean as you have had amazing results from that round last time. Keeping everything crossed for you xx
Hi Olivia, Congratulations on the birth of your wee girl.
I’m not sure if I can offer you any advice about your next step but wishing you the very best of luck xx
Hey there! Congratulations on the birth of your princess hon. You are so lucky. I wish that things work out for you next time too. Clinics play an important role in these treatments so make sure the clinic you are opting for has well-experienced doctors. I was in a bad state but when I changed my clinic, things worked out for me. I m in the middle of my procedure right now, My surrogate is pregnant and all I have to do is wait for the due date now. I just hope everything just works this time. I am very hopeful because of this clinic. In my opinion, it's better to start a fresh cycle tbh. It will just increase the chances. Consult this with your doctor. I hope this helps you. Stay blessed!
Hi! I am so damn happy for you. Congratulations! You are a lucky woman. I m glad that things worked out for you. If you keep trying, things always work out in the end. But for that, you need to stay patient and strong. If you give up, you will never be able to achieve that. I m trying from last 6 years so I know how hard it is for a woman to go through this. This journey is like a ride that never ends. The road is full of obstacles. I have recently started my treatment at this clinic. The clinic is really helping me out tbh. They have suggested me that IVF with DE is the best option for me so I m going for that. I trust my doctors, i know they will make it happen for me. Stay blessed.
