Hello everyone,

Just wondering what to eat and drink during the 2ww? I am really craving chocolate right now!

Honestly at this point you aren't trying to make any eggs etc and there is so much pressure. As well as obviously trying to get your greens (try lots of colourful veg) and fruit (not too much as it turns to sugar) and I think you can have chocolate - whatever calms your nerves. It can only be good for you xx

I’ve heard that caffeine is a no-no. I’ve been avoiding it.

I’ve tried pineapple (inc the core) and pomegranate juice. Both disgusting & possibly an old wives tale I’m not sure. Have heard some say it helps things along.

Clinic just advised me a healthy diet - quite vague I know xx

Whatever you want.... Honestly I relaxed my eating habits in the 2ww and had chocolate, snacks etc etc and I've just seen my baby's heartbeat today, so don't worry about things like that! Xxxxxxx

Hey

I was so much more relaxed with my 3rd 2ww. After eating pineapple, Brazil nuts etc etc during the others. During my 3rd 2ww it was birthday so I went out for a Chinese and had cake. I just avoided things I would have done with a normal pregnancy such as caffeine and alcohol. I'm now 32 weeks pregnant. Wishing you so much luck. Enjoy the chocolate the 2ww is hard enough xx

My advice is to eat chocolate if that’s what you are craving. In the 2ww you just need to be kind to yourself and dont stress yourself out. Eat like you are pregnant so no caffeine, alcohol etc

Good luck x

On the whole keep sticking to a healthy, balanced diet. No alcohol or coffee. However I’m sure a wee bit of chocolate isn’t going to hurt. You’ve been through so much, you deserve a little bit of comfort food. Very best of luck xx

Eat the chocolate! Pineapple and Brazil nuts. And apparently keep your feet warm- socks all the way!

I ate a lot of Brazilian nuts. Other than that just a healthy diet and eat whatever you enjoy. That will help taking the stress away x
