Hi all, currently taking buserelin injections for just over 2 weeks in prep for my first FET.
I don’t suffer from migraines but yesterday had an awful headache that sounds very much like a migraine with me being sick with pain and very sensitive to light.
Today my head just feels very heavy, it’s hard to tell if it’s my vision or just my head but I just feel very slow and fuzzy is the best word I can think to describe it.
Should I tell the nurses or am I being over sensitive?! Thanks x

I had this too with down regulation and unfortuately its quite a common side-effect! You can take paracetamol or codine but no ibuprofen. I found that warm baths with my head under the water covering my eyes but nose ouf of water helped me. Or those forehead sticks. Once you start on stimulation drugs you should hopefully feel much better!xx
Hi Newqgirl1. The drug works on the pituitary gland in the brain to work on shutting down your ovaries in readiness for stimulation. It is known to cause frontal headaches. However, if you are getting migraine type headaches you must mention it to your clinic. Hopefully i will settle with some paracetamol, but do get checked out if necessary. Diane
