Day 3 update

Hi all so we had 'the call' fro. The embryologist this morning. All 8 are doing well and have the right amount of Cells for this stage. She anticipate about 50-60 % will be of really good quality by day 5. Really chuffed. I found it really hard to understand her with her accent and I was on the beach when the call came through so that won't have helped. Worried I've missed vital Information. No news yet on the medication and when to start it as AF appeared 6 days early (Very unusual)And I have no meds with me! Worst case scenario we have to wait till next month xx

That's great news regarding your embryo update! Hopefully you'll get some advice regarding when to start meds but just a thought......if its estrogen (progynova etc) Im able to buy it over the counter in the local pharmacy when Im in Greece so it may be the same for you over there. Its called Cylacur In Greece so may be the same there but you can only use the white tablets (think there is 11x2mg white tabs in a pack and its not expensive), your clinic should be able to advise though.xx

So I can start my medication on my return to the UK on Sunday! Really pleased and relieved I hadn't messed anything up by leaving meds at home! I feel the clinic are really vague on email... She replied that I need to take 2mg morning afternoon and evening. Is that every day? Does it include the 18th when I go for a scan and bloods?

Feel I ask all the questions and if I did't I would't know a thing!

Yes once you start you continue on them and they may even adjust you your dose and put it up depending on how your scan goes.xx

They said 23rd would be date of transfer deoe dent on all being well with the scan and bloods. I've asked if there is flexibility with that date as it would be easier if we flew out on a fri and spent the weekend there as Oh has very few holidays left. I bet I'm driving them crazy with all my questions!!
