I have to use testerone gel for 3 weeks prior to starting egg ovalating injections. Anyone used the gel before? Its a first for me 😯

Hu Kazz im taking Testogel. 5 weeks until egg collection. I use a tiny blob on the upper arm/shoulder area around the same time each night. Ive had no side effects as only on it for a bit X

Hi Kazz777. Just hoping this works for you, as it is often used when ovaries don't respond well with stimulation. Seems to give them a boost. Usually using low soluble aspirin and anti coagulant treatment is not recommended while using the gel. Fingers crossed. Diane

This is really interesting and following Diane's comment, I read the research on the use of the gel in those that are poor responders to IVF cycles, I am one of those people. Although they used a small study sample (and recommend a larger study) overall, the testosterone gel improved the number and quality of oocytes as well as increasing the number and quality of embryos and consequently the fertility rate.
