First IUI cycle end of October

So today we finished our last counseling session and had our last appointment to sign consent forms for IUI and donor registry etc.

After the appointments we got given access to the donor website, after a 6.5 month wait to reach to the top of the list the results were a little underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong I praise and appreciate these people for giving us a chance to have a family. I just thought we’d have more than 4 choices!

We’ve got about 2 weeks to decide on a donor and then hopefully we will try our first IUI cycle when my period is due at the end of the month.

Woo hoo. Exciting. We didn't get a choice at all, we were told they had found a match and then it was all systems go. Don't fret too much over choosing, just go for it and imagine the little bean growing inside to become your amazing baby xxx
