Update - the dreaded call 😬😬😬

After being up since 6 am stressing about the call....out of my 14 eggs...11 were mature...and 8 fertilized through ICSI! Sooo happy! 8 is also my lucky number 😁 so here in NZ the way it works is, if you have 4 embryos or less they do a 3 day transfer. More than 4 a 5 day transfer. So I'm booked in for a 5 day. And unless you pay for the embryoscope (which I didn't) they do not look or even touch the embryos till day 5! So I will know nothing until transfer 😣 she said should it all go bad and there is nothing to transfer they will try and ring me before I go in for transfer, but the chances of that happening is only 5%. I can live with that! Just so relieved we've made it this far and 8..is great! 😁🙃🤞🤞💕

Yes the embryologist stressed how important it is not to move them or disturb their "home" for the next few days..i wish they would check them at least on day 3! 😣 Or wish i had the money for the embryoscope,no would get daily updates. Ah well I hope they are growing nicely 😊🌱🌼 xxx

We did embryoscope both times. We only got a day 3 and a day 5 update though.. It was just a bit more reassuring knowing they weren’t being taken in and out etc xx

Yes that's exactly what my clinic said they do not want to move them or touch them at all. VERY nerve wracking tho, not knowing how they are doing 😕🤷‍♀️ xxx
