I'm sitting here and s..... myself as they don't give any updates on day 4 and will go tomorrow for transfer and I'm thinking what if they say none of my 3 embryos made it to day 5? Need some positivity again πππ How likely is the embryos to survive from day 3 to day 5? The embryologist yesterday said they look good and the way they should. But I'm still a bit nervous actually not a bit I'm very nervous hahahah π€π€π€π€β€π€β€β€β€

I had 4 eggs retrieved, 3 fertilised, 3 made it to day 3 and on day 5 we had one good embryo that we transfered and a morula (I think if we had given it more time it would had gone to be a blast..) We transfered the good embryo and it was a CP. The embryologist was positive all the way. They were saying that they had seen many cases where all of them made it to day 5. Statistically you expect 50% to make it so 1-2, but some times luck is on our side and why not 3! I would be looking forward for your update. Best of luck!!!
Rationally, you know if it didn't look like the embies would make it clinic would have transferred on day 3. Realistically, there's no way you're not going to feel stressed and anxious right now so just focus on getting through that, treat yourself to a pedicure or something to make you feel good (beautiful feet to put up in the stirrups tomorrow hahaha). I'd say try to keep busy but anything requiring concentration will be pretty impossible!! Best of luck tomorrow xxx
That's what i thought as well that they would do transfer on Monday if there was any concern. Im trying to stay calm πππππ Thank you β€β€β€β€xx
It is always stressful to wait for the transfer and not knowing but Iβm sure all will be fine and they will pick the best one tomorrow. Best wishes xx
Generally clinics don't do a day 4 update, it means getting the embryos out which can impact on their development. It's really hard without an update on that day. You had 3 really good embryos on day 3 so just try and hold out for tomorrow. I know it's hard. On my last cycle I only got 1 egg, which didn't develop well to start with, then caught up on day 3 (was 8 cells) and then by day 5 was abnormal. You've had good numbers this cycle so hopefully at least 1 makes it, and anything else is a bonus and would be amazing xx
Hang in there lovely, it is really hard not knowing but as everyone has said they looked good at day 3 so that's really positive. Hope it all goes well tomorrow, got my fingers crossed for you x
Iβd like to think if it was all going wrong they would have called you today...but Iβm staying positive with the thought that itβs all going to be fine and your little embie will be snuggling inside you tomorrow xx
That's what im trying to convince myself too ππππ Anyway just a bit left can't wait to be tomorrow πππππ€π€πππβ€β€xxx
Don't worry. They'd have transferred already if none of the embryos looked like they were developing well. Good luck for tomorrow - sounds really positive to me!
Make sure you have something nice (but chilled) planned for after the transfer. We had a meal at our favourite Italian, a slow walk in the sunshine and then I went home and watched a comedy that made me laugh into the night. Something worked!
That's the plan. Hubby is off tomorrow so he is taking me out for lunch and nice walk and my plan in the evening is comedy with popcorn π€π€π€π€
Thank you very much π€π€π€πππβ€β€xxx
