How long till 1st official period after failed treatment??

Hiya, I was just wondering how long it takes to get your 1st proper menstruation after failed icsi/ ivf. ObviouslyI bleed after stopping progesterone, but not sure how long it's going to take for body to go back to normal, Thanks x

The day after my test day which was a BFN obviously...i got my period the following day and it was pretty normal that was back in April. And everything had been normal up until I think my 3rd period then it was 3 weeks late which never happens to me. But my first couple periods were normal. Hope your starting to feel a bit better, I know it takes awhile 😓 xx

After your initial bleed, when was your next period? Thanks x

Like I said got my period the day after test day..which was when it was due. Then the next 2 periods arrived as normal on time x

Hi lovely, I am not sure. I started bleeding before my OTD - but understand most people start to bleed after a few days stopping meds. But think it takes a few cycles for things to get back to normal. Hope you’re ok xx

Unfortunately everyone is different. Some people snap back into regular cycles and some take a little longer. I have always gone onto regular cycle (29 days) after my other failed cycles but this time Im still waiting although only on day 30 I might add so Im being a bit impatient I guess. Hope you're recovering from your failed cycle ok, I know how hard it can be to bounce back!xx
