Trial embryo transfer completed today for my IVM procedure which I will begin soon.

Thank you all for letting me know that it really isn’t something to be scared of, it was not as bad as I imagined. The nurse could see I was shaking and held my hand which I thought was so kind. I’m really not good with this stuff!

Anyway, 16 follicles on one ovary, 12 on the other. They said they had great success with IVM and PCOS, good! Nice to hear. Although they said, if I wanted IVF they can adapt the meds. I can’t go through with the multiple injections so I think IVM is right for me and it’s a quicker, cheaper process.

My trigger shot is being posted to me by the drug company (apparently it has to be temperature controlled) the one injection I do need to take before EC.

I just wanted to ask how you found egg collection - or should I not ask this and just get on with it?

The nurses said because my follicles will be much smaller with IVM i May feel a bit battered when I come around :(.

Hey, I was so nervous for my first egg collection and it wasn’t all that bad at all. I would ask for your clinic to prescribe you larazopem for the night before and morning... if really calmed my anxiety and I was so chilled the whole way through. Hope it goes well 🙏🏻❤️

Hey, I was put out for he half hour I was having my eggs collected. Maybe your clinic may do the same thing? You may be a bit uncomfortable afterwards but nothing too bad so try not to worry!

Yea they said I’ll be knocked out but because they will have to keep re-entering my ovary which will be tiny with immature follicles it can get quite bruised
