Hello, congrats again! When I went to my eight week scan I was then discharged by the clinic and had to call and register with the "normal" hospital. Really chuffed for you. Hope it all goes well.xx

Congratulations. I would wait until your scan with the fertility clinic that’s what I did the second time x

I rang the clinic on the day I needed to test and they book u in for the early scan, then after this happens and everything is ok you get discharged and to get your ante natal care sorted either by your local doctor or the hopsital where you want to give birth x

If you have any other conditions that could affect your pregnancy, you will need to contact your go now. If not, wait until after your scan. In my case I have an under active thyroid so I contacted my go fairly early on, but they told me to get back to them later so I only referred to the midwife team after my scan.

You’ll need a booking appointment with your midwife at around 8 weeks and they can be quite busy so you should get that booked in now. Your GP surgery should help you contact her.

Ps the apps like bounty, Emma’s Diary and baby centre can be useful for helping you know what you should expect x

I booked my appointment straight away with the midwife as I heard that they could be really busy. I had my booking appointment at 8 weeks and then I had my scan at exactly 12 weeks.

Midwife normally likes to see you around 8 weeks so I would just get yourself booked in! Congratulations x
