Can anyone put my mind at rest pls or is the inevitable happening. Im currently on holiday in the Lake District. Whilst out on a walk this morning, i felt a pop down below. I hurriedly found the neatest toilet to find fresh blood in my underwear. I don't know what to do or think .
Sorry for the delay. It took twice as long to drive home from our holiday in the lakes due to an accident on the motorway, which caused me to miss my scheduled scan at the clinic ๐ข. So I drove straight to A+E where I was scanned and given the thumns up. Little embie is still there with a lovely heartbeat. Doc said it sounds like it was a hematomer ( i do apologise, i have no idea how to spell it) lol
Thank you all for your lovely supportive messages, if it wasn't for you guys id of gone stir crazy this week xxx

Hey lovely- how much fresh blood is it? I had sudden back pain and a bit of fresh blood when I passed the clot and nothing else since. Call your clinic. They may advise you to have bed rest and possibly take extra progesterone. Hope everything's okay xx
I would call you clinic. Rest up for now and just keep checking. If it gets really heavy it might be worth going to The local EPU and ask if they could give you a scan xx
Thanku. The clinic said for me to book in for a scan with them on Friday when we're back from our holiday if im still breeding. But for now , to rest for the rest of the day. She said she didn't want to sound harsh, but if somethings going to happen, it will happen. So its just a waiting game. Thank u for replying x

Have you had any pain, or just blood? My partner passed a fair bit of old blood, which then turned to fresh blood at around 6/7 weeks, but she had no cramps. We were seen at the EPU & all was ok. Itโs best to get it checked out, but all may be as it should be. ๐ค๐ผ

Glad to hear they've booked you a scan. My clinic said the same when I rang about the clot I passed but couldn't offer a scan as it was too early. Hopefully it's just a bleed from somewhere else xx
Go to the local hospital to get checked out. I had the same and there was a lot of blood my midwife told me to go to a&e. Everything was fine in the end. But they will scan you. Wishing you loads of luck xx
Sending you loads of love - I havenโt got any advice as never been preggars before but fingers crossed everything will be ok when you go for your scan on Friday! ๐ค๐ผ xxx
I bled from 8+5 to 12+4! It was a clot and was constant for 3 weeks. Eventually it resolved and Iโm now 17+2, but it was hellish scary. So this doesnโt mean itโs all over but take it easy and hopefully youโll get answers (positive ones) Friday! Good luck xx
I had bleeding from around 6 weeks to just over 12- had something called a sub chronic bleed. They are quite common. It was bright red blood pouring out slight cramps but no clots. Have everything crossed for you xx
Itโs so worrying for you obviously but lots of women bleed in early pregnancy and many are fine. Fingers crossed for your scan on Friday ๐ค Take it easy xx
Sorry to hear you're bleeding! I was bleeding bright red blood when I was 5 weeks, I had cramps n felt pretty unwell, I had blood take followed by a scan the next day and everything was fine, I'm now 15 weeks pregnant! Get plenty rest and lots of positive thoughts ๐ Xx
These positive comments are really helping thank you. Its just the unknown which is hard x
I bled lots at 6 weeks and 6+3 (see my previous posts) and everything turned out fine. No idea why it happened. Got everything crossed for you ๐ค๐ป xx
I have been bleeding since 4 days past embryo transfer which was 15 days ago a mix of fresh blood and brown, mostly brown but everymorning after my first wee its fresh blood, its been 10 days since my test day and im still getting very positive tests and i was before the bleeding started as i tested super early! so i am hoping the bleeding is anything to worry about, my clinic also didnt sound too concerned, are you on claxaine? Or any blood thinners? As they can make the smallest amount of blood look like alot. My scans next week so im hoping everythings ok i hope everything turns out ok for you xx
Just to reassure you, I bled big clots at 6 weeks, lots of pain and cramping ended up at a and e! All was fine and Iโm now 20 weeks pregnant. I was told to rest and increase progesterone. All the best xx.
I had some bleeding on Sat and phoned NHS 101. I suggest you do the same so they can monitor you. They told me to keep all my sanitary pads in case things got worse and medical staff needed to see them.
They will probably tell you to rest but at least they will do a thorough telephone assessment and let your gp know. My bleeding stopped. I hope yours does too. Glad your wife is looking after you. Hope your scan is OK. Hope you had a nice time at the wedding.
Hiya hope your doing ok ... my sister bled for a couple of days when she was around 7-8 weeks pregnant my nephew is now a beautiful cheeky little 15 month old try not to worry i know its a worrying time Sending big hugs your way ๐ Xx
Hi. Its been brown blood all day and beginning to near enough stop now. Bizarrely, I've suffered all day sicknesses these past 2 weeks, but today, ive not felt even slightly nauseous. Not sure if thats something to worry about. Thank you for asking xxx
Well the fact that itโs almost completely stopped is good. In regards to the nausea itโs impossible to tell if itโs linked, or complete coincidence! At least itโs only 2 days now till you can have a scan to hopefully put your mind at ease! Keeping everything crossed for you xx
Only just seen this lovely. So sorry youโre going through this. Itโs crap.
I will second what others have said bleeding in pregnancy doesnโt always mean miscarriage. Itโs very scary but common to bleed during early pregnancy and most women go on to have a healthy baby ๐
I have good and bad stories; I bled very heavily like a period at 7 weeks with my son heโs 19 now! My second pregnancy wasnโt as lucky.
Good luck for Friday hope it can give you some much needed reassurance xoxo
Oh bless you. I bet it hasnโt not surprised. You canโt think of anything else. โน๏ธ Itโs awful waiting, hubby & I were at loggerheads ๐คฆ๐ฝโโ๏ธ One more sleep! ๐๐ปHope tomorrow brings happy news โค๏ธ xoxo
Iโm really pleased to hear all is well. Hopefully you donโt have any more scares and itโs plane sailing for the rest of your pregnancy ๐๐ Xx
