2nd baseline scan

Really nervous this morning, had a baseline scan on Wednesday and my endometrium was too thick to start my next lot if injection, so they've asked me to go back this morning. Really hope it's all ok! They didn't even manage to check my ovaries Wednesday as scan was so uncomfortable. Is it common to have the cycle cancelled at this point?

I had my cycle cancelled at this point back in May but this wasn’t because of my lining. They found a cyst that was giving off hormones so the buserelin hadn’t done it’s job properly!

I’m sure you will be ok and it was just too close to your AF showing up and hadn’t come away enough yet.

I had to have a secon baseline scan on one of my cycles but but they changed my medication in between and although I didnt get any further bleeding my lining had thinned down. Good luck!xx

Hi 2018hopeful.I realise how worrying this is for you, but they won't cancel the cycle unless absolutely necessary. it might just be an alteration to your medication. Good luck! Diane

I’m in a similar position right now, for me they’ve said it’s because I’ve got a corpus luteum cyst making it’s own hormones so the buserelin is not enough 🙈 They’ve upped my buserelin to see if that deals with it, and if it doesn’t they are going to drain the cyst (like egg collection). They aren’t talking about cancelling unless plan a and plan b don’t work so hopefully you will be ok too. Good luck!

I had good news, lining had thinned out enough, so I have now been able to start my stimulating injections tonight. Bit weird doing 2 injections, but just glad I was able to move onto this next step. Good luck to you all x
