So a few days into my injections I am due to fly up north for a few days to visit my sister. Do you know if the hospital will be able to provide me with something to carry my injections in and keep them cool? I’m panicking abit now x

I bought a cool bag and used it without the cool packs to keep them cool for flights. Once through security I bought a cold drink to put in the pack. You’ll need a letter from your clinic to allow you through security and carry them in your hand luggage (not that anyone asked for it!).

Thank you. How come you didn’t take a cool pack?
I would guess because it’s liquid so not allowed through security, but you might be ok with one of those mini ones
Sorry, just seen this. Like lizzielizzielizzie has said- would be above the liquid allowance.

I recently flew to Czech Republic for my IVF cycle and had to take my meds in a coolbag and used 2 regular sized ice packs (the thin ones) and it was fine. As it’s medication they’re ok and technically the ice packs aren’t liquid (until the ice melts). I had to put cool bag through security separately but they didn’t ask for any evidence but I bought copies of my prescriptions with me anyway just in case
