First injection tonight!

Got my first injection to do tonight to kick it all off! Super nervous! Any tips? Thanks in advance! Xxx

Good luck! No amazing tips to be honest apart from be confident, if you hesitate it’s so much worse and drink plenty of water. I’m on day 11 of injections so you’re not too far behind me. Really hope all goes well.xx

Hey im on day 19 of injections! KirstyC90 just be relaxed and you will be fine! Be kind to yourself and oh also numb the area before that usually helps xx goodluck

Can you ask OH to prepare the injection for you? I found it much less nerve wracking that way, as you don’t have the stress and anticipation of seeing the needle and getting out the bubbles.

I also found having a clean tissue to hand to apply pressure immediately after the injection, helped to minimise any bruising over time.

I had hubby hand me a nice cup of rooibos, or a cold drink immediately afterwards, like a reward ☺️

I promise that you’ll get used to the process and hopefully you’ll come to think of it as not too bad. You’ll be a pro at this in no time xxx

Ice pack. It doesn’t melt down your stomach. Also pinch the skin. Good luck xx

Thanks everyone! Yes it was fine, I panicked but I did it myself. Actually asked hubby to leave the room so I could do it! Haha! The needles don't hurt at all, just a bit itchy now! Weird as it's not near the injection site it's just down from it! X

Bless you thank you, I just know if hubby tried he wouldn't be able to do a thing right bless him! I'm so anxious I'd end up finding fault in the way he was doing it so best to let me do it then I can only blame myself! Making me feel a bit odd as I know I'm about to ovulate so my body must be a bit confused! X

Yes I remember feeling all over the place from time to time when i was prepping for my fresh 🤪... its good to have some control also in the situation im currently taking lubion injections my partners been a gem i wish i could do them myself give the poor man a lie in 😂.... Xx

I feel pain with every injection and I’m starting to wonder if I’m doing something wrong .. I’m pinching the skin and everything ..otherwise not much on symptoms .. I’ve got my first scan on Saturday and I hope that all is going as it should.. no boob pain for me thank God! 😊
