How exciting ! I’ve got egg collection tomorrow. I have found an ice pack to the area helps reduce any pain with the injections. Good luck xx

Good luck! they look more scary than they feel! I had a phobia of needles, adn literally done it everyday without no hassel at all, didnt hurt or feel a thing! after the first one its all ok! xx

Thanks Gingergirl! To be honest I think my excitement of finally being able to start definitely beats my fear of needles so that is definitely something :)

Good luck, I start my stims tonight too. It’s the second round for me, I used to be scared of needles but found them surprisingly fine last time! I just put them in really slowly and can hardly feel it. I definitely found it easier doing them myself rather than my partner doing them for me.

Exciting though! 😀

Ah good luck to you too! May this second round be the lucky one :)

Are you on the long or short protocol? What injections will you be taking?

Very exciting indeed! :-)

I’m on the short protocol because of high risk of ohss. I’m on 225 of menopur this time, last time I was on 150 but didn’t respond very well so they’ve upped it a bit.

Ooh I'm also on the short protocol with a high risk of ohss! I'm on 150 of gonal, I hope that's enough now you've said that!

Good luck! I had gonel-f too. The needle is tiny you will hardly feel anything :) just pinch yourself really hard - that would probably hurt more than the needle itself! You can also numb the area with an ice pack...when my husband sterilised the injection area with alcohol wipes, I didn't even know he was doing it, that's when I knew I wouldn't feel a thing. You will do absolutely fine!
