First injection !

I did my first injection this morning it was very raised, red and a little itchy, in top of my leg. Anyone else experienced this if so how long does it last for. Xx

I did my injections in my tummy alternative sides u sud b ok I think people do get a little reaction from doin the injection xxxif your worried may b phone the clinic for reassurance xxxx

It was the cetrotide which caused some redness/swelling but not every time. I was ok with menopur, felt it go in a little bit but it was a high dose. Any discomfort went after 5 mins or so I would have said

I'm feeling much better about it now as my second one wasn't too bad . It's the weekend I'll ring them on Monday just to check thank you xx

Hi after doing the second one feeling a bit better about it now. I don't think they give you enough training t o be honest it's really rushed I felt really nervous getting the right amount 1st time. I have watched many ppl do it online and everyone does it different. I think you have to find your I am why I will ring the clinic tomorrow just to make sure everything is going to plan xxxxxx thank you

My first injection was the same, mine was in my tummy but it was itchy ect. After my first one though it was fine. I just think it was because my body had never had it before xxxxx

I hated doing injections in my legs.. Try tummy and obviously as said move sites x

I was told to do in my leg I didn't know you could do in your stomach they never mentioned it to me. I'll ask them tomorrow . Xx

I found tummy was easier n i was tummy at the clinic. Menopur was ok, but cetrotide left lump for several hours for me. My first injection was scary, i was fine afterwards. Must say fragmin injection was horrible, it burned for about 10mins n then it would bruise.

Sorry belle, mine did nt work, unfortunately they embryos didnt take on so i didnt even get transfer stage. With low amh, they managed to get 7 eggs n 6 were mature. So 2days after egg collection i was told to stop my meds as the embryos are not dividing as they were supposed to. I have an appoiment with the consultant on the 27th of november again, so let see what happens next. But please dont be disheartened with story, as i see alot of ladies had positive pregnancies on this forum. I m one of the unluckiest ones here. I wish you all the best!

Hi, I am going into the fertility centre 08:20 Friday (12th) to be shown how to inject and obviously have my 1st injections. I was going to drive straight to work after, will I be ok? Did anyone feel poorly after their first injection of burserelin?
