IVF nurse appointment done..time for our ivf journey to begin

Hi,

We have just had our nurse appointment and discussed the ivf process in full detail, signed the consent forms, talked injections and had blood tests.

I have to wait a couple days now to receive my medication. I feel completely overwhelmed. All them injections are my worst nightmare but has to be done.

Good luck. You will get use to doing the injections the first couple are probably the worst as you will be getting use to doing them but once you get the hang of it it's usually less scary xxx

Is it at a nhs clinic or private clinic im thinking of having ivf im 41 so I got to pay

Thank you. There not really interested to be honest all they care about is making up the time and if the works going to get done etc. I wish they were understanding. Oh well. Nothings going to stop me doing this. Xx

It’s nhs. My partner is probably going to be doing my injections for me. Just all seems very confusing. I came over faint just talking to the nurse discussing all the procedures etc! How am I going to go through all this if I came over faint just talking about it!? Xx

You will be fine! I was the same as you, but you will overcome the injection side of things when you think of the possible outcome 💕 xx
