Day 1 of our IVF journey- fiiiiiinally!!

Hi all,

We're finally starting our ivf journey and it's been a looooooooong old slog to get here (I won't bore you with it all)

But today is day 1 of my cycle so we now have our next appointment booked to start injections on April 11th.

I was just wondering if there is anyone else at the same/similar stage to us that I can keep in touch with and we can share experiences. This is our first go at ivf and although I feel I've read every single little thing I could possibly read to try and educate myself with I'm always learning and I'd like to share the journey with anyone else at a similar stage? my partner is great and my friends are so supportive but it would be nice to speak to others who actually know, you know?

We will be being treated at the CARE Clinic in Nottingham so keen to learn of others experiences there too, tia

I'm awaiting to start my 2nd cycle of ivf only mid April,

Not sure yet, I got delayed by a month because of blood test showed I wasn't amune to rubella, so I'm just off to get blood test now as it's been a month then Monday I fine out what's what, I'm exciting nervous worried positive negative, and a brain that don't shut off, keep us posted on your cycle xx

Thank you, you too! My injections don't start for at least another two weeks after that - I'm on Progynova pills for the first 15 days. Will follow your cycle with interest! Fingers crossed we both get our BFPs heh?! xx

Long I think but to be honest I'm not quite sure (& a bit embarrassed to admit!) I didn't ask when I had the nurses appointment and have googled and googled it since and it doesn't fit either exactly but more like long I think! Will check when I go in for my first scan in three weeks!
