Two more hurdles have appeared before we embark on our tandem donor cycle. Firstly im getting a prescription for DHEA (testogel) from my consultant who has informed me that theres now a UK Shortage of it as one of the manufacturers no longer does it. He basically said i will need to try between 2 -3 dozen pharmacies and said "good luck". Secondly had a call from the embryologist who said its against the law to fly out frozen sperm abroad to a clinic that uses anonymous donor's. Feel like just giving up now. They recommend donor eggs yet i cant have them anyway! Theres a UK Shortage of donor eggs and a cycle here costs a fortune. 😢😢

Oh my, I'm so sorry..We cycled successfully with donor eggs overseas. I can hardly imagine facing any of the troubles mentioned. I'm crushed things got for you this complicated in the UK. Moreover, we're coming back for another de ivf shot (hopefully) for a sibling. Are heading off in a week. May I ask you, how much do you pay for your shot?
