Hi everyone.
I was surprised this morning to receive a call from the gynae admissions team to offer me a surgery date with my endo specialist.
It’s 9th July!
This will be third laparoscopy in 13 months 😳
The only snag is I worry how my business manager will react but I cannot live with the symptoms anymore. ☹️
I was told it was 8 month waiting list but due to the severity of my symptoms it’s been considered urgent. 🙌🏻

My line manager has been supportive and told me I have to take the date! It really helps because one of my line manager has had gynae issues and had suffered infertility & miscarriages and really understands. She did win the fight has two grown up children 😘

All fine with me thanks, had a great holiday with lots of relaxing. Starting my next FET soon so all good. Hope to be out for our next transfer end of July!xx

Everything my end is going okay got an appointment at the Fertilty surgery clinic on the 9th October for the get Ready for my operation on my tubes I’ve meet the surgeon already and he seems really happy about the outcome of it 🤞, it’s just the waiting around but I have got my girls keeping me busy I woke up to two tanned red heads lol they got hold of my make up tan thank god it washes off😂 , how are you? How’s being a nanny😍 can’t believe your son got his own little one xxxx
The surgery is on the 9th October? Can they not place you on a cancellation list? That seems quite a long wait mind yo mine minimum of 30 week wait; but since the letter the wait is half that.
I know the waiting around is so awful; I sympathise completely. You are all geared to go 👍The amount of times my trying has had to go on hold because of endo I’ve lost track... 👎Hopefully the endo is only superficial not deep or he can’t treat it and has to be a colorectal specialist so more surgery and waiting always waiting 😳
Harry is beautiful of course I’m completely biased.I enjoy seeing him so much 😍it is crazy being a Granny; it’s very weird your baby having a baby 😂😂😂
I’m having two teeth out this morning not looking forward to it 😳 but the teeth can’t be saved and always has a low lying infection it’s best it’s done .
I bet they keep you very busy growing up fast! It must be lovely having each other to play with. They must be 3 now? Are they at play school ? My son loved going there when he was little .
How is Nathan doing he must be very grown up now?! I suspect you hardly see him!!!
The surgery sounds so positive and I’m so glad there is another way for you because IVF is so expensive. It’s ridiculous.There is no way we could afford to have a round. Fingers crossed the surgeries “fixes “both of us. 😏

I wish it was only October I have to wait my surgery isn’t till March!!!!! He’s in high demand and is all booked up till then I’m going to got out of my mind!!! But he’s one of the best in what he does so I would rather wait I guess lol, I’ll ask though if there is any cancellation list I can go on I’m going to take a lead out of your book it just might get me somewhere like you, I hope all goes well at the dentist chick have them out chick you feel better when they have gone be brave😘 I bet it’s so lovely being a granny chick obey your on cloud nine so so proud I bet your son is so proud chick,Yes the girls are three now start nursery in September we go to play groups and play areas with our friends from play group we are always out but they do keep me on my toes lol Nathan leaves school next year he’s going into year 11 this year he towers over me he’s so grown up, I do really hope so that surgery fixes us chick but I really hope it fixes you more with all your that you have been through and the pain you are in from your endo chick I hope they can just get rid of it for you yes please stay in touch miss ya xxxx

Definitely ask to go on a cancellation list ; that’s a really horrible long wait. Poor you. Gone are the days where the NHS had to comply within 18 weeks 🤦🏽♀️ or you could always see if the GP can write and get the surgery pushed forwards it works😏
So Glad you have got such a skilled surgeon; he’s worth waiting for says a lot about him if his waiting list is that long 😊that’s the silver lining to the waiting ; is you will have the best surgeon doing this and will give you a brilliant & best chance of having a baby naturally 👍
I got a really supportive fertility doctor he’s always behind me and he helped with my GP push my surgery and referrals through 😁
The endo nurse is going to write to my business manager to say how urgent my surgery is 👍as she’s such a cowbag ; everyone is frightened to ask for time off. ☹️My line managers and other colleagues really lovely there sadly there always has to be one bad apple 🍎 👎

It really is hun. I know what you are going through and I really hope it gets sorted for you. It is horrendous living with it. Doing a lot better now thank you, being pregnant has helped my endo so much. Xx

If this isn't enough to make your business manager see how severe this is and how much the surgery is requires then they need a training course in people skills and a bit of compassion! Congratulations - this is fab news. Xx

My business manager is the most un compassionate person and has little to no sympathy; everyone at work is frightened of asking for time off work because she uses bully tactics which HR seem to back you wouldn’t believe how awful she is🤦🏽♀️ I’ve had many issues with her over hospital appointments and she kicked off about my last lap ☹️
She will kick off but I have got my endo nurse to write to her with the urgency of the surgery 👍and I will try to get my GP to also write. It sounds ridiculous that I am having to do that says it all really...
I have joined the union after my latest run with her.
It’s a shame because all my line managers and colleagues are so lovely 😊
If she does behave true to form I will involve the union 😡
Ultimately my health has to come first 👍; my son was over and he said you put your health above the job bless him he worries even tho I say I’m fine 🙂
And I’m over the moon it’s going to dealt with soon won’t let that cowbag dampen it 😂
