Currently 6 weeks 2 days pregnant with my first successful ivf cycle. Over the moon and still in disbelief. I’m still using the Crinone progesterone gel once a day but I am concerned that I am way more bloated than I should be...people have started asking! Is this normal for IVF pregnancies?
Thanks all xx

Bloating was my main symptom when I was pregnant. It’s because of the increase in hormones I think. I looked further along and my clothes were getting a bit uncomfortable. Nothing to worry about at all.
I am about the same as you with a natural conception and I am bloated the same, I keep thinking I havnt put on that much weight so quickly have I?! And it can't be baby yet. But my midwife says it's the hormones and all normal xxx eeek good luck for the rest of your pregnancy I hope all goes well x
Yes I had this at about the same time. It went down after about 4 weeks. I think a bit of it was swelling from egg collection/transfer, some was hormones, and some was constipation from the progesterone! I'm now 13 weeks, and seem to vary in size every day, I have fat days and thin days! x
I do think the bloating is worse from an IVF pregnancy than normal one. I’m also horribly bloated and people are asking and I’m a week behind you. It’s awful saying no I’m not when all you want to do is shout from the rooftops yes I am. But I haven’t even told my mum yet so there’s no way I’m going to tell other people.
Awww so lovely, congratulations. I honk maybe the progesterone bloats you. Did you get any symptoms at all in your TWW. I am 3 days off OTD with not one symptom but the odd cramp now and then when I move too much x
😂 I questioned this until I was about 12 weeks! I’d look not pregnant in the morning and by bed time I looked about 6 months pregnant! I think it’s normal and it does stop eventually. Massive congrats to you xxx
