IVF day 6

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely New Year!

Just want to share my experience so far..I started the IVF treatment last Sat taking Menopur in the morning and started Cetrotide from yesterday. I felt pretty alright before I started Cetrotide though, since then I’ve had a bit of diarrheas. Just checked online it’s part of the side effect of taking Cetrotide. Hope this won’t affect my treatment..a bit worried, so will ring the clinic to find out if I need to adjust my dosage..

Don’t know if any of you have experienced similar side effect and still went on to have a successful pregnancy? I appreciate your sharing of the experience! Xxx

Hey hun cetrotide can give you quite a few side effects and this is one of them. I had a bit of an upset tummy as well but after egg collection was the other way around, I was badly constipated for 4 days 😄). The stress always plays a big role in everything so try and keep calm. The journey is exhausting and full of emotions but you’ve got this!

This is my 2nd year into ivf. I had EC last year in January where we retrieved 4 eggs but nothing survived past day 2.

I had another EC at the end of April where we got 7 eggs and 3 made it to day 5. We transferred one beginning of May and 2 went in the freezer. The transfer was successful but ended in a chemical pregnancy.

I had a frozen transfer end of August which was successful as well but had another chemical. And I’m

Now preparing to transfer my last frozen embryo (transfer will be in the week of the 20th hopefully) and then we will see what happens 😍😍😍😍

Awww I feel for you, you have been through a lot. I love your spirit, keep staying positive, will keep everything crossed for you lovely lady!!! Hope things will work out for you both. Make sure to look after yourself. I am going to have my first blood test and scan on Sat.. see what happens then. Will keep you posted. Xxx

I’m similar to you started Gonal f on Monday my scan is also tomorrow and start cetrotide and menopur tomorrow evening. Wishing you luck for the scan tomorrow 💕

I am actually in Limerick in Ireland. Had the scan 41 follicles seen 2 are 11mm the others are under 9mm. How was your scan xx

I had about 10 or so follicles, 4 of them 18mm and the rest about 11mm. I am going to have my egg retrieval next Tuesday. Everything seems to go so fast..How about you? Xxx

I am on the same dose of Gonal and menopur final scan on Wednesday then they decide when I will do the trigger. My follicles aren’t responding as well as they would like. So happy you got good news. Yes it’s a lot of waiting which is torture but then fast moving at the same time. Xx
