Embarrassing question

Husband and i ended up having protected sex. We were told not to by clinic. Our egg transfer is on the weekend. It just happened. I know after transfer were not allowed to. Any advice?

From what I understand I think they tell you not to have sex because of infection but I have read posts on here before of people having sex before transfer and after transfer and they were fine and some even had BFP in the end. Sorry I cant speak from experience but just from what I have read. Crossing fingers for you for a positive result 🤞

Thanks for your reply. Im lucky to feel normal after egg retrieval and no pain. Ive carried on normal since ec. Plus we used protection so i think were k fingers crossed

Oh thats great that you have no pain! All 3 of mine I had quite bad pain, couldnt walk up straight. I am sure that you will be fine. Good luck with the transfer xxx

If you used protection then I can’t see any reason for you not to have sex. The only thing I can think of is risk of infection after everything still healing from EC but again, with protection I imagine it’s a fairly low risk. Good luck with the transfer and 2ww.
