My nutritionist advised full fat organic milk and organic whey protein shake with chia seeds and maybe bluberries. From stims until your test result.

I was told to drink protein drinks too. They said ufit, which is quite nice and tastes like milkshake. But it gets really expensive, especially as they wanted me to drink 3 a day!!! I asked if I could do whey protein powder and she said no lol. Xx

I'm not really sure why you need extra protein unless your diet is deficient. Obviously protein is good for cell development and growth but your body should be able to produce enough for development of the little embies. I was vegan for about 6 months before our treatment (fallen off the wagon now so just a veggie) and I just ate a normal amount of protein, which did me no harm. There are plenty of apps which can track your protein, but just supplementing your diet with good sources of protein - nuts, veggies, eggs, pulses (& lean meat if you do eat it) should be adequate. I attempted to make spirulina smoothies but they were gross!

Thanks Lilli79 my preference would be to bolster protein intake via foods - i don’t eat meat but have researched this afternoon and will make sure i eat plenty of greens, eggs and pulses

Yeah I think better if you can eat naturally rather than anything synthetic (although I appreciate that many protein blends are mostly natural). I found a brilliant book in a charity shop called The Food Bible by Judith Wills, it gives loads of lists of nutrients and their food sources - really useful further down the road when you might be more worried about perhaps iron, calcium etc. It was quite an old version but not much has changed and I think you can still get it online. Worth a look if you're interested, other than that there are obviously plenty of apps. I use Nutracheck which I find pretty good.
