Hi Emu2016! Don't worry hun you are not alone!! I never had any symptoms until about week 7/8 even then I had heartburn and sore boobs only. Now I am 12 weeks tomorrow and again the only symptom I have is sore boobs! I guess we have to count ourselves lucky. I have my 12 week scan next week and can honestly say the wait from a positive to my week 8 scan was so nerve wracking, however the wait from week 8 to 12 is even more harder!!! I am constantly worrying that something has gone wrong. I wish I had a little window that I could open on my stomach to make sure my baby is ok! Lol. Best of luck x
A window!!! Yes! I also would have liked a tattoo exactly where they were implanted so I knew about the stabbing pains! 😂 x
Please try not to worry hun - I never had any symptoms! I eventually got sore boobs and a lot later on, late-night indigestion. It really doesn't mean anything - some people don't get anything at all.
I know how difficult the wait is to the next stage - just hang in there 😘 xxx
With my daughter I had a little sickness at 6 o’clock every night for 5 minutes. With my son , nothing. I know you want it all for reassurance but honestly you may get nothing. My daughter is sick every minute of the day and is surviving on bread and water, literally and she still worries something will go wrong. The scan will be here before you know it and then you may feel a little better but none of us will be happy till that baby is in our arms xxxxxx
Congtatulations! You will worry either way. So you may as well enjoy no symptoms while it lasts. I am sure you'll soon have them xxx wishing you all the very best for next steps xxx
I only got a bit of nausea for a few days around the 6/7 week mark and then it disappeared after my scan, along with any other symptoms I thought was normal. So booked a private scan for today, to make sure it is still there. Lol. The past few days I've had a teeny bit of nausea again, but not much. I might just be lucky, you too. Or it may just hit you in a couple weeks time 😄 xx
Maybe a chosen few who’ve had an exceptionally bumpy pot-holey journey just to get to this point, get a free willy wonka magic pass on sore boobs/sickness/twinges/indigestion and get a few weeks of respite as a reward?! The universe, as we all know, works in strange ways and that lack of symptoms only causes more googling, more panicking and more questioning! Who knows, maybe just maybe someone out there is giving u a bit of a break and making life easy. Unfortunately that someone didn’t know how stressful no symptoms would be! If u find some of those symptoms can u chuck some over in my direction too please! 😘
Trust me those symptoms are definitely overated! Hope you get your scan soon though I remember that wait and being surprised that after the 2ww and the BFP there was more waiting and worrying and it is ongoing! Each day that passes brings you closer to your dream hoping there comes a time you can relax a little and enjoy this special time x
I know the feeling. I just had my 7 week scan yesterday and it was so nerve wracking because I haven’t been feeling anything. No sore boobs. Maybe a little bit more tired - hard to tell. The slightest bit of nausea that lasts only a few minutes but then I think it might be all in my head - like my brain is creating these symptoms to reassure itself. 🙈
But everything is fine, and had a great scan yesterday and now I have the long wait until 12 weeks... and yep it already is harder to wait that long.
Funny you should ask... so the nurse found the gestational sac and the fetal pole and heartbeat. Everything looked good but then she asked: you only had one embryo transferred right. We said yes. Then she said something looked strange and looked like there were 3 yolk sacs!! She then went away and called on a more experienced nurse. She checked me and said it was all fine and perfectly normal, and it was the new machine that picks up more blobs on the screen than they were used to. But for a few minutes there I thought we had a freak potential of 3 identical triplets! So it was a bit scary because then I though that’s impossible so maybe there’s something wrong with the yolk sac... but I just have to trust the second nurse. All is well, measuring just within a day of expected date. And heartbeat was strong! ❤️
Ha Isnt it crazy thay we actually want to feel like crap!😂 Nothing like asking for torture....hopefully you're for once just getting a break....not that it helps the frame of mind! How long till scan?xx
Week after next.... it’s really hit Mr Emu today. He’s worrying more than me now. Long weeks looking after his mum. Starts a new job on a night shift the same day as our scan! 😩 x
My best friend has two boys; a toddler and a baby. No symptoms on either pregnancy. Honestly. No sore boobs, nausea, nothing. She says she felt like a fraud both times and only really believed she was pregnant as she started growing and feeling movement from both pregnancies. I guess she’s just very lucky! xx
Hey Mrs Emu! Like Tugsgirl, my mum had myself and both my sisters without a single symptom.. So who knows if you will get any or not 🤔 big hugs and stay positive 💕💕 xx
I am tired. But I’m always tired I think! This doesn’t feel new x
I am 9 weeks now and feel pretty normal! Over the past few days I've started to get mild headaches. I feel a bit nauseous if I haven't eaten for a couple of hours and my booobs are tender on and off, but that really is It! My mum had no morning sickness throughout both of her pregnancies 😁 xx
When you find where to get them from, please let me know 😂 I had so underestimated how hard this bit would be and only a few days in!! I sometimes think I feel nauseas, but not sure if it’s my mind wanting me to feel like that or if it’s real. 😘😘
Hey bless ya. I remember feeling the same way indeed. Def a v hard wait. Hopefully it doesn’t mean anything n u’ll see ur healthy bean v soon. Take care x
