I am 32 , undergone ivf first time had very high hopes that it will work this time. But i started bleeding 13 days post egg collection, later severe cramps with bleeding , still continuing medication and supposed to test tomorrow.
I am devestated , feeling very low.

Im so sorry to hear that you have started bleeding before test day. I know how devastating this can be, I had this in 2 of my cylces. Sending massive hugs.xx

The Dr couldn't offer an explanation apart from it just didn't work. I personally feel that my progesterone dose wasn't high enough but they wouldn't test it. In my last cycle my new clinic gave me a much higher dose and I didn't bleed which makes me think i needed a higher dose as suspectes although sadly no BFP either!xx
I was given cyclogest 400 mg twice a day and estrodial pills 2 mg thrice a day. I think this is the maximum dose, even then i got my period before the test day. And btw the test is negative ☹️
Sorry it a BFN. I was on same dose of cyclogest on my cycle that I didnt bleed however given my history Dr said I could raise to 3 times a day if I felt I was going to bleed which I didnt. Still didnt help me get success, who knows why these things happen, just know its a pretty crap feeling at the time! Look after yourself!xx
So sorry to read this testuser1000. In both of my own egg cycles I bled before test day. I guess it depends how much blood you are talking about. If it is like normal period then it is likely that for some reason you did not implant.
What is the blood flow like? How many eggs did you get and how many made it to frozen?

So they took out 9 eggs, 7 mature eggs , 4 of them fertilized and only one reached blastocyst , rest of them are useless. The bleed is like normal period so far , i had severe cramps following by bleeding. Not sure what is wrong with me now. I have some things running in my mind.
If everything else was ok it might just be bad luck. Unfortunately they don't know the answers to everything but statistically not everyone gets pregnant first time. It is so disheartening when it happens but please let yourself have some time to come to terms with this and get a plan together for next time. Xxx
In saying that I would still do the test tomorrow. It is rare but some people do have red blood bleeding and still go on to be found to have a healthy pregnancy. However it is very rare. Xxx
